Heavy rainfall battered the coast of Kerala on Tuesday. An orange alert has been issued in four districts. The IMD has predicted more rain for the southern state.
As rains continue to lash days ahead of the expected onset of Southwest monsoon, the IMD on Sunday issued a red alert in the five Kerala districts for Sunday and Monday indicating extremely heavy rainfall.
As the death toll, due to the heavy rains and landslides, in Kerala mounted to 21, CM Vijayan said that 105 relief camps have been set up across the state and the arrangements have been made to start more camps as soon as possible.
