The ‘green’ upgrades have been made possible thanks to a £1.2m grant from Salix Finance, the government funding scheme aimed at reducing emissions across public sector organisations, topped up by an additional £800,000 from LSHTM.

UK-PHRST Research Fellow in Mental Health
The UK-Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST) is co-led by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and Public Health England (PHE), funded by UK government Overseas Development Aid with a triple remit of response, research and capacity development for outbreaks in low and middle income countries.
The main purpose of the post is to support the implementation and continued development of the UK-PHRST’s emerging mental health programme. To do this, the post holder will work with UK-PHRST colleagues, the Centre for Global Mental Health at LSHTM, and colleagues in Global Mental Health at Public Health England.
Nine people were arrested on suspicion of being involved in a drug dealing operation in Barrow. This followed a week-long operation focused on tackling drugs in the community. Nine people arrested in Barrow after police drugs sting

Nine people suspected of being involved in drug dealing in Barrow have been arrested as part of a police operation.
Two people arrested have already been charged with drug supply offences.
On Tuesday, two men and a 16-year-old, all from Barrow, were arrested on drugs supply offences alleged to have been committed in the Barrow Island area.
They have all been released under investigation.
On Wednesday, two women and a man, all from the Barrow area, were arrested at an address in the Hindpool area on suspicion of drug supply offences.
