The Champaign Public Works Department will close certain portions of South Mattis Avenue and Kenyon Road for sidewalk construction projects later this week. According to a press release from the CPWD, Mattis Avenue’s southbound traffic will shrink by one lane to make room for a construction project for the city of Champaign from Oct. 25.
