Right now Vallejo Police are processing the scene, collecting evidence and talking to witnesses. And they may be out here for at least another hour. A trip to a gas station turned deadly tonight. Vallejo police say they got a call around 5 25 that a man had been shot near fairgrounds drive. The man suffered several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Vallejo police are not releasing his name. But to want tnight the mans fa identified him. His aunt told us she wants answers. All i know is this needs to be investigated. I will not lie down and just let this go away. I believe its a policeinvolved shooting as you were ooh. One of the best people ive ever known with a huge heart, father of six. Reporter police say the man involved in the shooting was an offduty Richmond Police officer. He was apparently driving this mercedes. Some witnesses say they heard seven to ten gunshots. Tonight a large crowd gathered at the scene, some held hands in a prayer circle for the victim.
