Responders in new york city, arlington, and into mortal rushed , putting their lives on the line to save strangers. And as the dust settled and 3000 American Families grieved their loved ones far before their time, we quickly saw there was no going back. The old world that we had woken up to that Tuesday Morning was gone. We had not gone overseas in search of these monsters. These monsters came to us. These enemies would not leave our nation alone if we declined to confront them, so as we reflect on this anniversary tomorrow, we will remember the thousands of innocent americans who died that day and the brave servicemen and women who went on to pay the ultimate sacrifice to do justice and to prevent more attacks. My fellow kentuckians and i could not be prouder of the heroes stationed on our soil who have deployed throughout the war on terror. Thespecial operators of campbell,d at fort kentucky, handled the very first airborne insertion of troops in midoctober. A dangerous flight over

These delays are especially concerning and potentially lifethreatening during the Coronavirus Crisis. These are not isolated complaints. They are widespread. Our offices have been receiving thousands of calls and emails about the detrimental effects these delays are having on our veterans, seniors, Small Businesses, and families across the country. When we asked postal leaders about these delays they downplayed them. They dismissed them as temporary. They discounted them as a minor, unintended consequences of reforms being put in place. But then we saw National Headlines describing these delays in much more detail. I have a document here that headlines from almost every state in the count

Plan to get historic amounts of additional money in the pipeline for kids, for jobs, for schools. And democrats just point fingers, call names and keep blocking American Families from getting any more help before the november election. In july republicans put forward a serious framework, but Speaker Pelosi and the democratic leader refused to talk unless the starting point was their literally absurd 3. 4 trillion far left wish list that even House Democrats called a stunt. In august, with those talks stalled, republicans proposed narrow agreements on specific urgent policies to help families. Unemployment benefits, the paycheck protection program, democrats refused again. This time their invented excuse was anything short of their entire wish list was to piecemeal, to piecemeal and not worth doing. If democrats didnt get their diversity studies for the cannabis industry, stimulus checks for illegal immigrants, tax cuts for blue state millionaires, theyd make sure millions of americans
