LIMA A Lima man was heard on tape Tuesday instructing a female acquaintance to create fake medical documents in what proved to be an ill-fated attempt to get out of jail on bond.
Randall Rudy, 41, of Lima, is an inmate in the Allen County jail. He is charged with second-degree felony counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, in addition to a fourth-degree felony charge of aggravated trafficking in drugs.
On April 29, 2019, the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force, with assistance from the Allen County SWAT team, served a search warrant at a home in the 1500 block of North Central Avenue, Lima, at a home reportedly owned by Rudy. During the search, approximately 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located. Rudy and a female were the only two people in the home at the time the warrant was executed.
