Pleas of not guilty were entered Thursday on behalf of Joshua McPheron, 31, of Lima, who is charged with gross sexual imposition for alleged unwanted physical contact with minors. McPheron reportedly has more than 500,000 followers on the social media platform TikTok, where he posts videos under the name TheDadofTikTok.

Lima teen gets 14-year sentence in pizza shop robbery

Na’Zier Howard, 18, of Lima, was sentenced Wednesday to 14 years in prison for his role in the January 2020 armed robbery at Little Caesar’s pizza in Lima. Howard also has a murder charge pending against him in Allen County Juvenile Court, prosecutors said.

Na’Zier Howard accepted a deal from prosecutors Wednesday and was sentenced to 14 years in prison on two counts of armed robbery with firearm specifications for a robbery in January of last year at Little Caesar’s pizza in Lima.
Mother of slain child charged with involuntary manslaughter

LIMA A Lima woman whose 4-year-old daughter died last month of abdominal injuries after suffering what investigators say was a severe beating has been indicted on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Her live-in boyfriend faces charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter and endangering children for allegedly causing the death of My’Laya Dewitt and also for inflicting injuries on the young girl’s brother.
Stayce Riley, 23, Ma’Laya’s mother, was indicted earlier this week by an Allen County grand jury on a first-degree felony charge of involuntary manslaughter and a single count of child endangering, a felony of the third degree. Her bond was set at $200,000.

Rachel Hooker, 20, was sentenced Tuesday to two years on probation for her part in a robbery that took place during a sex-for-hire transaction more than a year ago in Lima.

LIMA A Lima woman allegedly forced into prostitution by her then-boyfriend was sentenced Tuesday to two years on probation as part of a favorable deal from prosecutors.
Rachel Hooker, 20, was indicted by a grand jury in May 2020 on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault, felonies of the first and second degrees, respectively. The charges stemmed from an incident that took place when a sex-for-hire transaction turned violent.
