By: William Blanchette TULSA, Oklahoma - Kids 12 and older can now get the Pfizer vaccine, but some parents fear possible long-term side effects. The Oklahoma State Medical Association President, Dr. Mary Clarke said widespread vaccination is a critical tool in ending the pandemic.  “It can damage them long-term, like for their future,” parent, Stephanie Meadows said. “I would be open to getting the shot for them,” parent, Kenneth Kelley said. There are mixed opinions from parents about kids getting the vaccine. However, Dr. Clarke said the vaccine is safe for kids 12 and older. “We have a large number of children who have done very well with this vaccine,” Dr. Clarke said.
