Gonzalez accused of killing 8yearold Madison Middleton at their santa cruz apartment complex in july then throwing her body in the dumpster. Supporter of little girls family held photos outside the courthouse today. We want to make sure that shes represented here as well as as well as the person that took her life. Sonny andersons previous animal cruelty case, the one laura mentioned, involved a brutal attack on animals at the kennedy park petting zoo in hayward back in 1999. He was accused of mutilating a goat and pony and three other animals with a knife. Some breaking news, authorities are asking for the publics help to find a kidnapped teenager. An amber alert was issued for 14yearold sergio vazquez. Investigators say he was abducted by two men in a white van in san andreas in east stockton. He is 510 tall, weighs about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black teeshirt, jeans and black snowtype boots. Investigators say the men may have taken him to the east bay or perhaps the sacramento area. Police say a woman high on marijuana ran over an 84yearold woman in san mateo and now they are asking for witnesses to please come forward. Two palestinian men armed with knives, axes and guns storming a synagogue in jerusalem. Coming into the synagogue and we heard gun shots from downstairs. Reporter a fifth victim, a policeman, died later. At least five others were injured, many from direct axe blows to the head. Police who arrived at the scene shot and killed the two terrorists. Reporter this was the first time in the longstanding israel Palestinian Conflict that worshippers inside a synagogue were targeted. It took place in an Orthodox Jewish neighborhood that has a Large Population of englishspeaking immigrants. Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas condemned the attacks. No Palestinian Group has claimed responsibility but hamas applauded the violence. Tensions in jerusalem are at their highest point in years. The protestors, mayor kwan says have nothing to fear. We havent had an officer involved shooting for 17 months we cant find a time where weve got over a year, before. In august, four separate mars converged into a rally. Hundreds took to the streets to stand with protestors in missouri. The large gathering was peaceful. Well have extra police mobilized. Mayor kwan believes when the grand jury decision comes down, the police force will be able to keep protests peaceful. Unlike what happened during the occupy demonstration. Were determined to let people speak as well as to keep the peace in the city. Protestors say the time is right to blossom into a national movement. They want the message to be forceful and unrelenting. Though mayor kwan is not anticipating anything, she did issue a list of precautions.
