Reporter officer goodson stood trial on seven charges, including seconddegree depraved heart murder, manslaughter, and reckless endangerment. Judge Barry Williams found goodsons failure to seat belt gray was not a criminal act. Goodson didnt seek medical treatment for gray, but prosecutors failed to prove goodson knew gray was in distress. The judge determined there was insufficient evidence that goodson gave gray a rough ride. The judge said he couldnt determine that the wagon ran a stop sign from this video presented by prosecutors.
