We have people that feel they are not included and they dont feel welcome in their own city. I think its a little bit of over securing and now you are hearing too many inconveniences. Take into consideration of our residents and the ability of them to go through certain areas and securing all of these areas for the whole week not letting people be able to go through and other things that i think were just too much. Today the Council Members got their official visits to all the major papal events but when they hear that 6,000 National Guards men will be brought into town they believe its too much. This has made it stressful to some people impacted. The security issues, there are concerned about the security surrounding the pope, its not like this when the president or other dignitary. Its better to be prepared than to be caught without proper preparation, i believe this is an opportunity for the city of philadelphia to showcase itsself on an international level. A lot of Carnival Cruises. She said they were always able to get access. We had a friend that would get Text Messages but there was no service. If people could have talked to their families, that could have helped so much. People that first night were crying and stuff. Because you talk to your families, youre scared, you dont really know whats going on. So youre scared. And then you cant talk to your family for the next two days or something. I think i dont know.
