The eggs were distributed with the help of the green watch team at Kendal Fire Station to community organisations including: Impact Housing Jenkins Crag and South Lakes Foyer; Sight Advice South Lakes; Targeted South Support; Councillor Michel Miles; Kendal Community Emergency Planning Group; the Kendal Integrated Care Community Team; Manna House; the Sandylands Association; Kendal People’s Café; the parish church; and Nutwood Medical Practice.

Home Instead has teamed up with Morrisons in Kendal and Levens Village Store as drop-off points so people can leave their Easter eggs at those shops until March 30. The firm is working with  groups in the area, including the Peoples Café, Kendal Integrated Care Community, Kendal Community Emergency Planning Group and Sight Advice South Lakes, who will help to identify people who may be lonely, vulnerable or isolated this Easter.
