Cyclist dies after colliding with truck in north Fort Collins
A cyclist was killed Wednesday morning after his bicycle collided with the side of a pickup truck in north Fort Collins.
Fort Collins Police Services said in a release the crash happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Jerome Street and Vine Drive, which is just north of the Poudre River Whitewater Park.
The adult male cyclist from Fort Collins was travelling south on Jerome Street, turned right onto Vine Drive and collided with the passenger side of a 2014 Ram 2500 pickup truck traveling west on Vine Drive.
The cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was uninjured. He is from Fort Collins.

A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving another vehicle Sunday evening in west Fort Collins.
Fort Collins police were notified via a 911 call just before 8:30 p.m. of the collision at the intersection of West Prospect Road and South Taft Hill Road.
Investigators determined a 2020 Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Taft Hill Road and making a left-hand turn to go eastbound on Prospect Road, a police news release said. A 2005 Honda CBR600RR was travelling northbound on Taft Hill Road when it collided with the Civic.
The motorcycle rider, an adult male, was pronounced deceased at the the scene. His identity will be released by the Larimer County Coroner. The two occupants inside the Civic were transported to a hospital. The adult female driver of the Civic had minor injuries, but her adult male passenger suffered serious injuries.
