A controversial proposal that has pitted east Larimer County residents against the city of Thornton got a hearing before the county’s planning commission on Wednesday.
The three victims include 19-year-old Jaquelin Galvan, 19-year-old Natalie Palaxios Mendoza and 18-year-old Alexsandra Fragoso; Galvan and Fragoso were both from Fort Collins while Mendoza was from Loveland. All three died from multiple blunt force injuries caused by the crash, according to the Coroner's Office release.
Two people were found dead in the front seat of a Jetta and the Larimer County Sheriff’s deputy then discovered a third person deceased in the back seat of the vehicle, according to a news release.
