The significant fundraising quarter demonstrates the Governor s new fundraising muscle.
In June, GoLocal reported that McKee’s inner circle was overjoyed with the turnout at a political fundraiser at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick.

Mixed-use development coming to old Benny’s headquarters

Tenants may also be coming to old Benny’s store
SMITHFIELD – For a small fee of $20, the former Benny’s headquarters sold to a Warwick-based holding corporation on March 26, opening the possibility for a mixed-use development on the site including a possible micro-brewery.
Town Manager Randy Rossi said he was unable to comment on the sale or plans for the development at this time and said more details will come in the following weeks.
