Mixed-use development coming to old Benny’s headquarters
Benny’s former headquarters, the old Esmond Mill at 340 Waterman Ave., has been sold, according to realtor Sweeney Real Estate and Appraisal. Tenants may also be coming to old Benny’s store
SMITHFIELD – For a small fee of $20, the former Benny’s headquarters sold to a Warwick-based holding corporation on March 26, opening the possibility for a mixed-use development on the site including a possible micro-brewery.
Town Manager Randy Rossi said he was unable to comment on the sale or plans for the development at this time and said more details will come in the following weeks.
