The hey center of this week, ali is at the epicenter, what youre hearing . We are hearing from people who felt it and no heavy damage. Nothing fell over, thats the good news, and were at ashley and college. We have driven by china shops and were closer to the Claremont Hotel. Weve been talking to people and people have been coming up and telling us theyve been up since 2 39 this morning when this 4. 4 magnitude earthquake happened. It happened quickly in the claremont canyon area of the Berkeley Hills. We talked to the owner of a doughnut shop. Hes been here since 1987. He experienced the 89 earthquake and he said this is no comparison. This was a minor, minor little jolt. It was definitely noticeable. Heres how he described it. Its like, you know, somebody is knocking it back a little bit. I saw a sign was moving. Okay, here we go again. Reporter again no damage at this shop or anywhere else that weve seen in some of the shops here in berkeley, in elmwood closer to the Claremont Hotel
