BROCKTON As new coronavirus cases continue to decline with increased vaccinations, some aspects of peoples daily lives are becoming a bit more normal.
One thing that local school officials are hoping will be relatively normal this summer at least in the new COVID-19 normal is high school graduation. We will be as close to normal of a graduation as possible, Brockton Public Schools Superintendent Michael Thomas told the school committee on Tuesday evening.
Thomas said the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education s recent updated guidance allowing for graduating students to maintain 3 feet of physical distancing rather than 6 feet while masked outdoors will allow for a more normal graduation.
