Was a stillborn. The mother, 24 yearold katherine dellis, is in jail tonight, charged with a felony count of unlawful concealment of human remains. The investigation started when dellis was taken to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital with symptoms consistent with recently giving birth to a third trimester baby. Dellis denied giving birth. Investigators search her home and interviewied her family. That led police to Franklin County dumpster site, where the newborns body was found.
