Our Correspondent Imphal, Sep. 6 EMN): Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh, on Tuesday chaired a meeting with MLAs from the hill districts in connection with the finalisation of the traditional huts of all tribes to be constructed at the Sangao Ethnic Park at Moirang Khunou area in Bishnupur district. Confirming this by sharing photographs of the meeting in a tweet on Tuesday, Singh wrote, “Held a meeting with the Hon’ble MLAs of the hill districts to finalise the design of the traditional huts of all the tribes of Manipur which has to be constructed at the Sangai Ethnic Park. We were also joined by senior govt. officials and subject experts.” Almost all the MLAs from the assembly constituencies of hill districts were present during the day’s meeting. It may be noted that the state government is putting much effort into construction of the Sangai Ethnic Park as the site will be the main venue for the Sangai Festival 2022.
