EFCC arrests suspected human organs trafficker
EFCC says preliminary investigation reveals that the suspect deals in a human organ bank and leads a syndicate of fraudsters falsely presenting themselves as medical doctors.

Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said Thursday that its operatives have arrested the leader of a syndicate selling and buying human organs for trafficking to foreigners.
Ukaeje Emeka was arrested on April 16, 2021 at Rumukparali, Ozuoba, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, the anti-graft agency said in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren.
The commission stated that Mr Emeka, who goes by different aliases including, Dr Phil Mark, Dr. Donald Phillip, Dr. Wesley David, was arrested “based on established intelligence on his suspicious fraudulent internet dealings.”

A man who was travelling on Monday in a commercial bus from Ajase-Ipo to Ilorin in Kwara State, with a fresh human head and hands concealed in a bag, has been arrested.
The 24-year-old man identified as Kehinde Moses, confessed that the head and hands were that of a man hesays used to be known as Mohammed.
Moses said Mohammed was murdered for ritual purposes in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ajayi Okasanmi, said Moses’ accomplice escaped by taking to his heels when police personnel stopped the vehicle for search on the road.

The police in Kwara State, on Monday, arrested a man caught with a fresh human head and hands concealed in a bag in a commercial bus travelling from Ajase-Ipo to Ilorin.
The 24-year-old suspect, Kehinde Moses, confessed that the head and hands were that of a man he identified as Mohammed, who was allegedly murdered for ritual purposes in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ajayi Okasanmi, said Moses’ accomplice escaped by taking to his heels when police personnel stopped the vehicle for search on the road.

The Police in Kwara have arrested a 24-year-old man, Kehinde Moses, with a bag allegedly containing a freshly severed human head and hand along Ajase-Ipo road during stop and search duty.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mohammed Bagega, made the disclosure in a statement in Ilorin on Monday.
Bagega said that the suspect was arrested by a team of ‘Operation Harmony’ in a commercial bus and in the process of searching the bag, one man took to his heels while Moses held.
