The Police have arrested a suspected ritualist, Kehinde John Moses, who was in possession of a fresh human head in Kwara State.
The suspect, Daily Trust learnt, was arrested along Ajase-Ipo/Ilorin road, when security team of Operation Harmony were conducting a stop and search operation.
When the bag he was carrying was searched, freshly severed head and hands, among other parts, were found there.
Speaking on the incident, the Police Public Relation Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi SP, said the suspect In the course of interrogation confessed to have killed the victim named Mohammed in Ajase Ipo with his fleeing partner for ritual purposes.

A man who was travelling on Monday in a commercial bus from Ajase-Ipo to Ilorin in Kwara State, with a fresh human head and hands concealed in a bag, has been arrested.
The 24-year-old man identified as Kehinde Moses, confessed that the head and hands were that of a man hesays used to be known as Mohammed.
Moses said Mohammed was murdered for ritual purposes in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Ajayi Okasanmi, said Moses’ accomplice escaped by taking to his heels when police personnel stopped the vehicle for search on the road.

The police in Kwara State, on Monday, arrested a man caught with a fresh human head and hands concealed in a bag in a commercial bus travelling from Ajase-Ipo to Ilorin.
The 24-year-old suspect, Kehinde Moses, confessed that the head and hands were that of a man he identified as Mohammed, who was allegedly murdered for ritual purposes in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun Local Government Area of the state.

Bus Passenger Caught With Fresh Human Head and Hands in Bag

A freshly severed human head and hands of a boy were found in the bag of a bus passenger in Kwara, Nigeria, during a police stop and search of the commercial vehicle, Nigerian authorities announced on Monday.
Kwara State Police Command spokesman Ajayi Okasanmi called the crime heinous and said that the suspect, Kehinde John Moses, was arrested and during an interrogation he confessed to murdering the victim for ritual purposes with an unnamed partner who was with him on the bus. The commissioner of police, CP Mohammed Lawal Bagega wishes to advise criminals to vacate Kwara State, as the Command possesses the capacity to deploy all legal means to deal with criminals, if that is what it will take to ensure the good people of Kwara live in peace at all times, Okasanmi said.
