‘Kids Baking Championship’ 2020 Cast: Meet The Season 9 Contestants

A new batch of talented culinary kids will be heading to the kitchen to prove that they are the best pint-sized baker on the 9th season of Food Network’s “Kid’s Baking Championship.”
The hit competition returns tonight for the 9th official season as they face difficult challenges, which, according to a press release, include making rainbow cupcakes, dessert imposters and more, with the added stress of their parents watching from backstage as they work to win a grand prize of $25,000 by impressing judges Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman.

Cydney Cain, 11, a sixth-grader at Prospect Park School, recently had an opportunity of a lifetime. Food Network flew the Delaware County resident and her mother to California so she could compete in the Kids Baking Championship. The show will debut Monday, Dec. 28, at 9 p.m.

SUGAR CITY A local boy took his baking talents to Hollywood over the summer to compete for a chance to earn a sweet grand prize.
Sugar City local Keaton Ashton, 12, was one of a dozen contestants selected to be on the Kids Baking Championship a competitive television show for young bakers on the Food Network. He spent the summer filming the 10-week competition that is set to air at the end of the year. Contestants are eliminated on a weekly basis, and only one is named the winner and receives $25,000, a spot in Food Network Magazine and the title of Kids Baking Champion.
