DeLand, FL - Volusia County Environmental Management’s (VCEM) Sustainability and Resilience Manager Katrina Locke is encouraging Volusia County residents to learn more about the impacts of sea-level rise and storms on coastal construction. You can do so by taking part in the Resilient Volusia webinars scheduled tomorrow (April 29) from 6 until 7:30 p.m. and Friday (April 30) from noon until 1:30 p.m. Locke says her division has been working on resiliency issues for a few years. Getting the community to be engaged in the conversation and the planning process around resiliency is the purpose of the webinars.
