Sisters recall kindness of hospice in mum s final days

Hospice - Josephine Gunnee spent her final days in St Helena Hospice HAVING conversations about dying, death and bereavement are be no means easy - but they are ever so important. With this week marking Dying Matters Awareness Week sisters Linda Buckley, from Leigh on Sea, and Alison Thorpe, from Colchester, decided to share their experiences of why we should talk about dying. Their mum Josephine had a positive outlook on life, grasping every opportunity, and being diagnosed with a rare cancer did not stop her from going out with friends and spending time with her family.
