Police increase patrols in south east London after children are approached by men in four separate incidents as schools warn worried parents to tell youngsters to be on their guard
Spate of four incidents began when two boys were approached separately by a man in Bromley on April 30
Boy, 11, who is the son of Line of Duty s Sherise Blackman, was asked by a man in a van if he wanted a lift
Second incident around same time saw another boy, 8, approached in nearby wooded area of Kelsey Park
Third report on Thursday of a male school pupil being followed by a man along a street on the previous day
The event s organiser is facing a fine of £10,000.
Inspector Kathy Morteo said: Everyone knows that it is neither lawful nor safe for such events to take place while the country is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Health Protection Regulations are in place for good and easily understood reasons, and it is our role to enforce them in London.
Police have broken up several Covid parties since the start of the third lockdown.
Last month two officers were injured when they broke one up in Kensington, London, which had about 200 attendees.
They became hostile and pushed to avoid fines.
