Inspector Kathy Morteo said: Everyone knows that it is neither lawful nor safe for such events to take place while the country is dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The Health Protection Regulations are in place for good and easily understood reasons, and it is our role to enforce them in London.
Police have broken up several Covid parties since the start of the third lockdown.
Last month two officers were injured when they broke one up in Kensington, London, which had about 200 attendees.
They became hostile and pushed to avoid fines.

The actions of all those present were incredibly selfish and the fact that so many went to great lengths to flee from officers is evidence that they knew what they were doing was wrong. At one point, there were 14 police officers on scene; that’s 14 officers who could have been dealing with other important matters across the county.”
Police teams across Sheffield have been working with both universities in recent months to prevent parties in student residences.

Police handed out £34,000 in fines after breaking up a student party attended by more than 150 incredibly selfish revellers.
Some partygoers fled through fire exits and set off alarms when officers were called to the Ranmoor Student Village in Sheffield.
South Yorkshire Police said one officer was injured amid the rush to leave.
The organisers have been fined £10,000 and more than 30 fines of £800 were issued.
Officers were called to the site by university security staff at 01:13 GMT on Thursday.
Insp Ali Bywater said it was absolutely appalling to see such blatant disregard for safety at a time when the vast majority are working so hard and making huge sacrifices to adhere to the rules .

One man was charged £10,000 after admitting he had organised and facilitated the event.
Police said between 30 and 40 others were charged an £800 Fixed Penalty Notice for attending. DJ decks and a laptop were also seized.
The following bodycam footage, released by South Yorkshire Police, shows officers first arriving at the scene.
The University of Sheffield will be using the video footage to identify others in attendance.
