The Blue Flag keeps flying at the Trent Port Marina

This week the municipality announced that the marina is one of 10 in the county flying the flag. The Blue Flag certification is an international award that recognizes an area that has the highest environmental, accessibility and sustainability standards. “The Blue Flag program along with other environmental initiatives including the Great Lakes Cleanup Project and Boating Ontario’s Clean Marine program, is a key focus of our efforts to operate Trent Port Marina in an environmentally sustainable manner,” said Kathy Lammers, manager of marina and waterfront facilities.

Trent Port Marina earns Blue Flag for ecological work
