The United States is urging allied nations to help deal with the growing number of foreign fighters that are being held by the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, saying the militants should be turned over to face justice in their home countries.

In what is becoming a recurring theme, U.S. Central Command on Wednesday morning announced a B-52 presence flight in the Persian Gulf. It s another unnecessary and wasteful deployment.
According to the
Wall Street Journal, this B-52 mission is the sixth since last fall, when concerns began bubbling up in the Trump administration about Iran possibly using the anniversary of Iranian Quds Force Gen. Qassem Soleimani’s death to target U.S. forces and assets. Soleimani was killed in a U.S. airstrike as his car exited Baghdad airport in Iraq.
