TROY – The Troy Police Department swore in four new officers Friday afternoon at City Hall in a ceremony limited to family members due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The city’s newest officers are Jack Engster, Katherine A. Molesky, David Grant and Kevin Koberger.
Engster became a part owner of Manory’s, the city’s oldest restaurant, before deciding to join the police force. His great-grandfather was a city police officer.
Molesky is the daughter of Deputy Police Chief Daniel DeWolf. She is a graduate of the College of St. Rose and previously worked in the Troy City School District.
