Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Hamari NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Hamari, 74, of New Brighton, Minn., went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 5, 2021, following recent health challenges. Kathy was born April 11, 1946, in Washington D.C., daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Mary (Moore) Kane. She was also preceded in death by her husband Al Hamari in June of 2020, to whom she was deeply devoted to and loved and to whom she married on Nov. 20, 1976. Kathy graduated from Our Lady of Peace High School in 1964 and St. Katherine’s University in 1968 in the Minneapolis / St. Paul, Minn. area with a major in speech and drama. After graduation, Kathy became involved in the local theatre “Theatre St. Paul” as well as doing volunteer work for the local public TV.
