Late season snow hasn’t bailed out Maine’s beleaguered snowmobile season, as rains and wind melt the state’s white gold.
Maine has had a tough winter for snowmobiling.
Now that some areas have snow and trails are beginning to open, snowmobilers are being cautioned that there could be downed trees across trails or stumps and rocks just under the snow’s surface.
