toppled some onto power lines in people s homes. leopold said the county also had to shut down 42 roads. i can tell you just fixing 42 road closures will cost $1.5 billion. if you add all of the costs together if i had to give a guesstimate, would i say $4 million to $5 million. anne arundel is not one of the 13 counties getting disaster aid from the federal government. even though damage estimates are high, the county apparently doesn t meet a threshold set by fema. for counties it s $3.27 per capita. so the amount of damage has to meet that threshold for their to be an eligibility for assistance. cecil, hartford, queen annes are among the 13 counties you expected to get help from fema after hurricane rhein. although an amount has not been set, the counties will be reimbursed for money spent on repairs. it s not like a pot of money just given to a state or county. they re done project by project. even though anne arundel county wasn t included in this declaration

police say on the morning of march 1, william porter was murdered inside his business. it was a scheme involving ms. porter, who in fact, are arranged for the death of her husband. apparently it was a family affair. court records show that the wife told her nephew about problems she was having with her husband. he told her he had someone to take care of her problem. police said that was triggerman walter bishop and she paid him $9,000 to kill her husband. her sister gave bishop the gun. police say cell phone records and other technology helped unravel the scheme. just the fact alone that tv imagery was available all throughout the county, whether it was involved in the business or not. still, the question remains why carla porter wanted her husband dead. charging documents say a witness said he was abusive and wanted to move to florida. police have not revealed any indication about a motive and no court documents indicate any abuse. bail has been denied. all of th
