Security forces on Friday shot dead a foreign terrorist of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in an encounter in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The Jammu and Kashmir police have busted a terror funding and recruitment module in North Kashmir's Kupwara district. Six people have been arrested by the police and arms and ammunition were also recovered. The police said that they had received multiple inputs about an individual in Kupwara running a terror funding racket under the garb of an NGO.
According to police, one of the three terrorists killed in Awantipora was involved in multiple incidents, including attacks on security forces in the area.
