Outdoor Bazaars and Outdoor Shopping complexes shall be allowed to operate on Mondays and Thursdays, starting from Monday i.e. 31-05-2021 in following manner: a) Markets having Shops on both sides of Road: Shops on one side of the road only shall open on a particular day/date, the other side shall remain closed completely, the sequence of opening shall be on Rotation basis.

An order in this regard was issued by the Registrar General of J&K High Court which read, “After taking feedback with regard to the prevailing situation due to the spread of Covid-19 infection cases in UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and also the latest SOPS and Guidelines of the Government in vogue, the High Court order No. 259 of 2021/RG dated 26.04.2021, read with order No. 299 of 2021/RG dated 10.05.2021 and order No. 332 of 2021/RG dated 25.0 2021, is further extended up to 15th June, 2021.”

The period commencing from 7th day of June to 12 day of June, 2021 shall be No work period for the Hon’ble High Court” Further the order stated, “In terms of Rule 12 of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Rules, 1999 Hon’ble the Chief Justice has been pleased to nominate the Hon’ble Judges for both the wings of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, named in Column (1) below, to be the vacation Judges to hear all matters of urgent nature for the period mentioned against their names in Column (2).”
