India's External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Sunday informed the authorities had evacuated 229 more stranded Indians from Sudan. The people were brought back to the country under 'Operation Kaveri', a day after 365 people landed in Bengaluru from the African country.
”#OperationKaveri One more flight brings back 229 passengers to Bengaluru,” External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar wrote on Twitter.
Evacuees belonging to the state arrived in two batches - first, a group of five reached Mumbai airport on April 27 and the second batch of 114 people arrived at KIA on April 28.
