The Karnataka High Court on Monday reserved its judgment on a batch of petitions challenging the ban on hookah and hookah bars in Karnataka [R Bharath and ors v. State of Karnataka].
The Court noted KEA's failure to demonstrate how the seat was allotted to one of the respondents in the second round of counselling without a seat being available.
The shareholders have called for the EGM to discuss change in the company’s leadership. They reportedly want to oust the present leadership including Raveendran and reconstitute the board.
A division bench of the Court is slated to decide on a case filed by X Corp (Twitter) questioning the Central government's orders to block certain tweets in 2021-22, which was later confirmed by a review committee.
The Court made the observation while rejecting a challenge to the launch of an SFIO probe against Exalogic Solutions Private Limited, which is owned by Veena Thaikkandiyil, the daughter of Kerala CM, Pinarayi Vijayan.
