A contractors' body which had alleged that they had to pay 40% commission to get contracts for public projects under the Basavaraj Bommai-led BJP government has levelled the same allegation at the Congress government which came to power last year.
The Siddaramaiah government has appointed retired High Court Justice H.N. Nagamohan Das to probe the “40 per cent commission” allegation made by the Karnataka State Contractors’ Association against the previous BJP government.
