Home Minister Amit Shah said that during the last three years, the union government has signed several agreements for ending extremism and for lasting peace in the northeastern states.
The state government has called for a meeting with concerned officials to discuss on Nagaland Peace Process and on Urban Local Bodies election on March 9.
The vice-president said that various progressive measures taken by the government would help Assam and other Northeastern states to scale higher peaks of progress and development in the future.
