Opd launched a special undercover operation and its already seeing results. Our crystal bailey is learning more now about the operation that netted seven people crystal, in just one day. Its part of heathers excuse me, oaklands auto burglary suppression operation. The undercover operation happened on september 28th. Oakland Police Caught seven people in the act on three separate occasions recovering three catalytic converters and two firearms and personal property. They were foot chases , the Police Helicopter searching suspects even rammed a Police Cruiser with a stolen car while trying to escape. There have been nearly 11,000 car burglaries in oakland this year up 41 since last year. Oakland pd is finding creative ways to combat crime. Im for all of us dont want to shop in oakland anymore.
