Schools within subdistrict G are Flinn, Froberg, Jefferson, Riverdahl and Whitehead.
The winners in subdistrict C and G will serve four-year terms.
The seven non-paid members of Rockford School Board help oversee Rockford Public Schools, one of the largest school districts in the state with 28,200 students and an annual budget of nearly $500 million.
Rock Valley College: Nelson, Soltow lead
Four candidates faced off for two positions on the Rock Valley College Board of Trustees.
Candidates were Peter Cimino, Ira Grimmett, Nelson and Soltow. Only Nelson was a current board member, having been previously elected to a six-year term in 2017.
With all of the Election Day votes tallied in the city of Rockford, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Stephenson and DeKalb counties late Tuesday, winners were Nelson with 31% of the vote and Soltow with 37%.
ROCKFORD Election results for Rockford School Board subdistrict C took a 180 Wednesday after 25 votes from mail-in ballots were added, putting challenger Kamrin Muhammad ahead by six votes.
After unofficial Election Day results were posted Tuesday night, School Board incumbent Ken Scrivano was ahead by five votes. Scrivano was first elected to the board in 2011 and currently serves as the board s president.
Rockford Board of Elections, one of two election authorities that contribute to the results in subdistrict C, added votes from 89 mail-in ballots Wednesday afternoon, 31 of which came from voters in the school district s subdistrict C.
More mail-in votes are expected to be added in the days and weeks to come.

Voters across the region will head to the polls Tuesday to decide who will represent them on City Council and in other municipal offices, township boards and school boards. They ll also determine several tax measures, including a proposed increase for ambulance service in southwest Winnebago County and a new sales tax in Durand.

ROCKFORD Newcomer Kamrin Muhammad is challenging Rockford School Board President Ken Scrivano for his seat on the board, which he’s held since 2011.
Scrivano is a retired respiratory therapist and hospital administrator. Muhammad is a recreation coordinator at Washington Park Community Center.
Muhammad has a 15-year-old son who attends Auburn High School. Scrivano’s grandchildren attend Rockford Public Schools.
Both candidates are seeking votes in subdistrict C, a geographic area on the city’s northwest side roughly bounded by Auburn Street, the Rock River and Meridian and Latham roads.
Schools within subdistrict C are Conklin, Welsh, West and West View.
