BUTTERWORTH: The court proceedings of a South Korean pastor accused of outraging the modesty of two men was delayed as he could not understand the charges read to him. Jee Jon Hoon, 54, who is speech– and hearing-impaired and facing two counts of outraging the modesty of two men, failed to respond when the charges were read out to him and no plea was recorded yesterday. The case has now been adjourned to Jan 18 for an international sign language interpreter to be present to read the charges to him. According to the charge, Jee is alleged to have molested a man, then 21, at 12.20am in a room at Jee’s apartment in Kampung Paya in Butterworth on Oct 13,2013.
