2022 Humble (TX) Atascocita four star offensive tackle Kam Dewberry narrowed his choice of schools down to ten earlier this afternoon.
Dewberry holds over thirty offers to date and has long been a target for the Longhorns, so it was no surprise to see them make the cut along with several other heavy hitters from around the country.
Dewberry has been high on the Longhorns early in the recruiting process, but the Texas staff will no doubt have to earn their keep if they want to earn his commitment coming National Signing Day in 2022.

Texas Longhorns head coach saw it coming when sophomore quarterback Casey Thompson stepped in for an injured Sam Ehlinger, only to completely dominate.
Per the
Dallas Morning News, Herman said, “Really, really proud of him. We knew at halftime that there was a strong possibility he was going to have to finish the game for us. Thought Mike Yurcich called a great second half for him, some max protection. This was a very, very complicated, complex, disruptive defense that we were playing. I thought Mike simplified the game for Casey, and Casey and his receivers delivered.” Herman continued, “I mean, nobody was surprised. Maybe all of you were because he hasn’t played a whole lot. But we’ve seen him in practice for three years. None of us were surprised.”
