From 247Sports: “The NFL is gaga for linebackers who have versatility, athleticism and hit above their weight class. That’s Overshown, a former safety who has grown to 6-foot-4 and nearly 220 pounds. He won Alamo Bowl MVP honors with six tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery, and if he can be that player more consistently, look out.”

Texas Longhorns head coach Steve Sarkisian is among the new guys in town for 2021.
He could also be among the most successful, 247Sports notes.
From 247Sports: “The Longhorns have a top-25 roster and should be a top-25 team on the field. The feeling here is Texas finishes with less than the three Big 12 losses Tom Herman delivered the proud program last season. The Longhorns should improve as the season develops, but they might be a year or two away from contending with Oklahoma for the conference title again.”

The Steve Sarkisian era is hitting the gas and doesn’t show any signs of braking in the near future as Texas Longhorns quarterback commit Maalik Murphy teased another upcoming commitment following the pledge of Frisco Liberty wide receiver Evan Stewart late Thursday evening.
We got another coming soon Maalik Murphy (@SmvOperator) February 19, 2021
Murphy has connections to wide receivers like Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei’s CJ Williams, who plays with Sarkisian’s son at the Los Angeles-area powerhouse and USC pipeline, and St. Louis (Mo.) St. Mary’s Kevin Coleman. Williams, like Stewart, is a top-40 prospect nationally, while Coleman is even more highly considered, ranking No. 18 as a consensus five-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
