Quinones-Lopez was shot outside his home on Nov. 3 and died soon after.
Hollingsworth, 26, is the brother of Tigan Hollingsworth, who was murdered in June 2010 after being chased half a block from the Grampy’s convenience store and gas station on High Street to a Weir Street backyard, where he reportedly was kicked, punched and stabbed 12 times.
Quinones-Lopez was originally convicted of Tigan Hollingsworth s murder, but his conviction was overturned by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in March and he was set free.
Quinones-Lopez s brother, Etnid Lopez, is serving life in prison with the possibility of parole in 15 years for Tigan Hollingworth s murder. His conviction was upheld by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in August of this year.

Authorities on Wednesday arrested a 26-year-old Taunton man for allegedly killing Jean Carlos Quinones-Lopez, who was freed from custody earlier this year after the stateâs top court reversed his murder conviction in the 2010 fatal stabbing of the suspectâs teenage brother, according to prosecutors.
In a statement, Bristol District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn IIIâs office identified the suspect in the slaying of Quinones-Lopez, 30, as Kali Hollingsworth. Quinones-Lopez was gunned down on the afternoon of Nov. 3 on Myrtle Street in Taunton.

Arrest Made in Connection to November Taunton Homicide
A 26-year-old Taunton man was arrested early this morning on a charge of murder connected to the November 3 slaying of Jean Carlos Quinones-Lopez, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced.
Kali Hollingsworth was arrested around 5:15 a.m. today outside his mother s School Street home. The arrest was made without incident by investigators from the Taunton Police Department Detective Division and members of District Attorney Quinn s Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit.
The defendant will be arraigned today in Taunton District Court on a charge of murder.
Taunton Police, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the district attorney s office and Homicide Unit prosecutors continue to actively investigate the November 3 homicide.

A suspect was arrested this week in connection with the slaying of 30-year-old Jean Carlos Quinones-Lopez in Taunton last month, according to authorities.
Kali Hollingsworth was taken into custody around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday outside his mother’s home on School Street in Taunton, Bristol District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III said in a statement.
The 26-year-old Taunton man was arrested on a murder charge for his alleged role in the fatal shooting of Quinones-Lopez in November, according to the statement.
Officers found Quinones-Lopez shot outside his home at 23 Myrtle St. shortly before 4 p.m. on Nov. 3, officials said. The 30-year-old man was rushed to Morton Hospital, where he later died.
