Tobruk and his rider were managing thousands of demonstrators who marched in the city s CBD in protest against the city s lockdown on Saturday.

Police have charged two men after they allegedly struck a police horse during an anti-lockdown protest on Saturday.
Thousands of angry protesters breached COVID-19 restrictions and took to Sydney CBD, demanding an end to the city s lockdown.
The image of a man punching a police horse, which was first shared by the Sydney Morning Herald, has caused outcry on social media.

Fifty-seven people have been charged, including two men for allegedly striking a police horse, following an anti-lockdown protest that shut down the city on Saturday.
