Police have charged two men after they allegedly struck a police horse during an anti-lockdown protest on Saturday.
Thousands of angry protesters breached COVID-19 restrictions and took to Sydney CBD, demanding an end to the city's lockdown.
The image of a man punching a police horse, which was first shared by the Sydney Morning Herald, has caused outcry on social media.
