Our Reporter Dimapur, Sep. 5 (EMN): Director General of Prisons, Home Guards & Civil Defense and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), Rupin Sharma, on Monday said teaching is a profession which facilitates generational changes. The senior police officer was addressing the first Chümoukedima district-level Teachers’ Day celebration, jointly organised by department of School Education and All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association, as guest of honour at CTC hall Chümoukedima. Sharma said everyone is born out of flesh and “it is the teacher and education which makes who we are.” “If it is not for the basic qualities of inquisitiveness and innovation of teaching all of us would be an animal by instinct,” he said.
