While declaring a detention "illegal and unjustified", the Punjab & Haryana High Court has issued a contempt notice to the Haryana Police for violating the Supreme Court directions issued in the case.
The high court had passed the order while hearing a petition filed by Sanjeev Kumar (landowner) seeking directions to deputy commissioners-cum-arbitrators for expediting the disposal of the arbitration cases that has been pending for more than 10 years. The matter came up for hearing on July 7.
As per the policy, all government Ayush institutions, private Ayush hospitals having National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) certificates and entry-level NABH certificates will get empanelled under the new policy.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court recently granted bail to a retired army personnel, who had been imprisoned for nearly a year, holding that mere registration of other cases against the petitioner.
