As per a simple assessment, so far, a bill of nearly Rs 1 crore has been raised by the commission, which is still ongoing. The Commission is hopeful that it will complete the hearings by the end of this five-month extension.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has opposed the bail application filed by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and former State Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in the corruption case filed against him.
Deshmukh had claimed bail pointing out that Sachin Vaze on whose statements the agency has heavily relied, had given contradictory statements before it and the judicial commission.
